Free Fax
This is a great idea! I will compose a draft letter to use as a base (edited letters are best!); can someone find the fax nos. for Eric Holder, Pres. Obama, Vice Pres. Obama, and the House and Senate Judiciary Committees? They may be available on Project Vote Smart.

Twitter Rooms for media twitter accounts
My link to TPM's Twitter Rooms didn't go through above, but I want to make sure it's available and this resource's utility is clear:

I haven't heard much about it since it was announced. However, if we do use it in a unique fashion by utilizing our capacity for collective action, it could be the beginning of earning their direct support in all other sorts of capacities.

Question and suggestion
Hi, Carlo! Good to hear from you --
As you might expect, since I provided the rough draft, I think it's vital to see Justice Act as only one and a partial response to the specific Patriot Act issue (e.g. even some of the provisions set to expire this year, such as the lone wolf provision, aren't technically part of Patriot Act as much as they are FISA generally -- that one was added in the Intelligence Authorization Act). And not just EFF, but a whole long list of organizations has endorsed the Justice (Patriot Act reform) Act by Feingold and Durbin and the other senatorial allies. Among those organizations are:
ACLU American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression American Library Association Association of American Publishers Association of Research Libraries Bill of Rights Defense Committee Brennan Center Center for Democracy & Technology Center for National Security Studies Defending Dissent Foundation EFF The Freedom and Justice Foundation Government Accountability Project National Coalition Against Censorship PEN American Center The Woodhull Freedom Foundation
