On the day of the FISA vote, Tuesday, at 6 p.m., the New York Times reports that "Mr. Obama is to attend a dinner at the home of Senator John D. Rockefeller IV, Democrat of West Virginia, where guests must spend $28,500." This is particularly galling because Sen. Rockefeller played a leading role in drafting the current FISA bill.
