Obama's waning position on an Iraq withdraw along with his decision to back the FISA update bill have left me deeply disturbed. While the promised filibuster was desired, I did at least expect a nay vote on FISA. A promise broken.
Hillary voted Nay on FISA. Is it too late to re-cast my primary vote for her?
Obama appears to be repositioning weekly based on the ebb and tide of polls, something both Gore and Kerry did a this point in their respective campaigns and have since expressed deep regret in doing. Shifting your planks based on the voodoo poll analysis and interpretation game is one sure way to push your base off the edge.
The last thing Obama needs is for people like me to not know what to choose to believe anymore. Trust lost is hard to regain.
