August 4:The biggest anti-FISA event this week is Strange Bedfellows' August 8 money bomb, and we're working with them to help promote it. Our Facebook event will be an interesting calibration of how effective our outreach is there; for our Watch the Senate Vote on FISA event on July 9 we invited slightly more than 2000 people and had 230 acceptances, and especially if we can reach out to libertarians as well, we should be able to do better.Fight FISA on TV! continues to go well, with 3,000 YouTube views and 28 paid placements of the ad, a solid start to our goals of 10,000-20,000 views and 200 placements by the end of August. The video statistics thread and It's almost like we're building a movement or something for more about the results to date and areas for improvement, and the list of upcoming markets is here.nonOn thee platformcurrently front, our language is in the leading (so far) civil liberties plank of the Netroots Platform Project, merged with several other complementary planks. We appear be the only group that's made an organized effort to influence both the in-person listening meetings and the online netroots platform. progress
