Progress on last week's action items

• get discussions going on change.org. how?
• one possibility: "what does it mean to Get FISA Right"? Jim will draft a 300-400 word intro framing it; also cross-post on dKos to start getting discussion going.
  

• Russ Feingold: our message to him: "we're the grassroots group that organized so successfully on my.barackobama.com last summer; moving forward, we'd like to work with him and his staff".
  
• Jean: he'll be in Wisconsin on March 4. Get it discussed at the listening session: encourage people to mention "domestic spying". Assemble hard copy to give to him; work together with Harry, Ben, Nina.
  
• Fieingold also has his own blog on Daily Kos, he's pretty focused on his constitutional amendment for senatorial issues. Pick a time when we're going to engage, and make sure we're all aware of it. Frank: to take the lead on drafting something, send out for review; we'll post once he there's something relevant.

• blog post on next step for ad campaigh: volunteers for spearheading ads/media outreach locally (TBD). once we know where we have critical mass we'll look for opportunities to tie it to local events (e.g., for the Seattle area, the spying on civil liberties organizations in Tacoma)
• can we use Facebook to find local friends? Jon to write up a proposal on how.
